[Japan Student Netball Association Rules]

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 (Name)
This Association shall be called the "Japan Student Netball Association" (hereinafter referred to as "this Association").

Article 2 (Location)
The location of the Association shall be determined by the Chairman.

Chapter 2 Objectives and Activities

Article 3 (Purpose)
The Association aims to promote sports activities among students in Japan through netball, foster healthy minds and bodies, promote international exchange, and expand the diversity of sports culture. Furthermore, the Association will strive to incorporate the opinions of students involved in netball and improve the activity environment.

Article 4 (Activity content)
In order to achieve its objectives, the Association will carry out the following activities:
1. Supporting the establishment of student teams and promoting their activities
2. Planning and running national and regional tournaments and joint training sessions
3. Implementing training programs for coaches and referees
4. Organizing awareness-raising activities and events to promote netball
5. Promoting international exchange, including friendly matches with overseas teams

6. Support for participation in international competitions and provision of information
7. Other activities necessary to achieve the Federation's objectives Chapter 3 Members Article 5 (Types of Members)
The Association's membership is as follows:

  1. Group Member: Groups that agree with the aims of the federation and have registered as student netball teams.

  2. Individual Member: A member who agrees with the objectives of the Federation and has registered as an individual.

Article 6 (Membership and Withdrawal)

(1) Any organization or individual wishing to become a member must apply to the Association and receive approval.

(2) If a member wishes to withdraw from the Association, he/she must notify the Association accordingly.

Article 7 (Membership Fees)

The Association does not collect annual membership fees. However, when necessary operational expenses are incurred for tournaments, events, etc., an operating fee will be set and collected on a case-by-case basis.

Chapter 4 Organization Article 8 (Establishment of Institutions)
The Association shall establish the following organizations:
1. General Assembly
2. Steering Committee

Article 9 (General Meeting)
(1) The General Meeting is the highest decision-making body of the Association and is held regularly once a year.
(2) The general meeting will deliberate and decide on the following matters:
1) Business report
2) Business plan

3) Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
4) Other important matters (3) Resolutions at the general meeting shall be passed with the consent of a majority of those present.

Article 10 (Steering Committee)
(1) The Steering Committee shall consist of the following officers and shall manage the operations of the Association based on the resolutions of the General Meeting.

  1. Chairman: 1 person

  2. Vice-chairmen: 2

  3. Steering Committee: A few members

(2) The chairman, vice-chairman, and steering committee members will be elected at the general meeting by self-nomination or recommendation from others, but if the number of seats exceeds the capacity, they will be decided by majority vote of those in attendance.

Chapter 5 Amendment of Terms and Conditions and Dissolution Article 11 (Amendment of Terms and Conditions)
Amendments to these regulations will be made at the general meeting with the approval of more than two-thirds of those present.
Article 12 (Dissolution)
The dissolution of the Association shall be decided at a general meeting with the approval of more than two-thirds of those present.

Supplementary Provisions Article 13 (Enforcement)
These Terms and Conditions shall come into effect on February 4, 2025.
